About Women Help

This dataset consists of a corpus of anonymized narratives from real reports of gender-based violence in northern Mexico. The texts originate from institutional care processes for women victims of violence and, in some cases, serve as supporting evidence within the justice system.

All reports were manually anonymized by removing personal and identifiable information, while preserving linguistic variation characteristic of the region and the formal style of institutional records.

The corpus is designed to support data-driven analysis of gender-based violence, with a primary focus on identifying the type of violence involved and classifying its level of severity.
